Sadie Hawkins Week

Sadie Hawkins Week was first held in February, 1940. It was an annual event sponsored by the PKD and featured a variety of activities including dances and wiener roasts. Throughout the week gender roles were reversed as women on campus were encouraged to pursue men and pick up the cheque. One of the highlights of the annual event was the Man Hunt, a race through the Bowl with men being given a sporting head start.
