Joe Griffiths leads yell

The expression of school spirit has taken many forms at the University of Saskatchewan. Initiation practices, held for decades, were seen as an integral part in the fostering of camaraderie and pride in one's school. During these early decades school songs and yells pervaded the student consciousness, with every college and club, and even the individual years within a college. composing their own cheers. Fashions and means of expression may have changed over the years, but pride in the institution, its people and its teams has never faded and remains a big part of the student experience. Go Huskies!
