Georgius Pupus Supreme I

The mid 1950s to the early 1960s were the golden years for the crowning of campus queens. Every college had one and "crowning" was a featured event of many college dances. Notable among the individual Queens were the Annual Blood Drive Committee's "Vampire's Dream" of 1966, who was selected by the editorial staff of Playboy magazine, and 1962 College of Pharmacy Maintenance Queen Hilda Hemmorod.

And of course there was the glorious reign of Georgus Rex (Rex Universatatis) who in 1955 became the only Campus King ever crowned at the University of Saskatchewan.
