Springtime
The sofa sagged in the centre,
The shades were pulled just so,
The family had retired,
The parlor light burned low.
There came a sound from the sofa,
As the clock was striking two,
And the co-ed slammed her text-book
With a thankful “Well, I’m through!”

Academics are a large part of any successful
student’s life. While sleeping in, partying and generally having
fun can be much more entertaining, there comes a time when every student
must buckle down. Whether writing a term paper, cracking the books or an afternoon in a lab or classroom, academic work can come in a variety of forms.
