Donation basket for the International Student Service Clothing Drive, 1947. The International Student Service existed from 1946-47 to 1951, and provided aid and relief to students throughout the world following World War II through funding, book and clothing drives. The Canadian branch of the ISS also held an annual Summer Seminar in Europe, to which three delegates, selected on a basis of academic proficiency and student leadership, were sent from each Canadian university.
