Sheaf - 9 October 1936
Beside a cartoon depicting a merry-go-round of "relief works," The Sheaf ran an article commenting on children imitating their elders. It described a group of 10-year-old boys "in a quarrelsome mood, apparently arguing over which direction they should pull a wagon..." One suddenly became their leader, calling "Come on, gang, we gotta get to this revolution!' Innocent words from the youngster, but sufficient to make sophisticated oldsters pause to see what's in the air."
