Sheaf - 28 November 1958
The Sheaf wasn't above making light of the Cold War and McCarthyism. Under the headline "Queer Sights Above the Campus and All...Campus Shows Red Trend," an "alert Sheaf photographer caught this strange phenomenon....Its meaning was a first unclear until one bright political science student interpreted it as some kind of Communist symbol. The Sheaf would appreciate it if any further illusions, visitations and mirages would be reported immediately to our office."
