In order to drum up interest in the annual campus Blood Drive of 1965-66 the Public Relations Directorate and the Blood Drive Committee held a contest for a "Vampire's Dream," to be crowned at the subsequent dance. Colour photographs of the contestants (clothed) were sent by the P.R.D. to be judged by the editorial staff of Playboy magazine. Their choice was Liz Freed.
