Student Organizations: College and Academic Societies
Student associations and societies at the University
of Saskatchewan have played an important part in the education of many
students over the years. The purpose of these organizations was often
academic – to bring in guest lecturers or to discuss essays and research. Regardless of this fact it
was often the social side of the groups which made them so successful,
as the activities and camaraderie which they developed served to unify
the students. Here are a few of those groups.
