Formation of the SRC

The stated purpose of the Student Representative Council at the University of Saskatchewan was to act as a unifying force in University life and as the supreme representative body of the students. The SRC was subdivided into several directorates which were responsible for the organization, coordination and running of the various events, social activities and athletics on campus. The SRC filled this role admirably, providing students with a bevy of functions, excursions, and athletic functions.
