Leaders — George Edwards:

 

George Edwards was elected Vice-President of the SGGA in 1922 and President in 1924, where he also served as secretary until that organization merged with the Farmers’ Union in 1927. His other posts included presidency of the SGGA Trading Department, provincial board member of the SWP, and he was also active with the Saskatchewan Egg and Poultry Pool, the Saskatchewan Section of the United Farmers of Canada, as well as the Canadian Council of Agriculture and the Debt Adjustment Board. Mr. Edwards died in 1976.
