Griffiths Stadium Greystone - 1937 Construction of the original Griffiths Stadium. The Half Way House, the closest building to the stadium and a popular student hangout, coffee shop and store, was demolished shortly after this photo was taken. The wooden structure in the middle right was and still is the entrance to Griffiths Stadium. In the background are Emmanuel College (right) and to its left, the former wood-construction St. Thomas More College Building.
