Historical Note: The Regina Municipal Airport was officially opened on September 15, 1930 . In 1939 the Department of Transport built an administration building and control tower at the Regina Municipal Airport . The terminal buildings were constructed in an Art Deco style and are reported to have been designed by Storey and Van Egmond, although no architectural drawings exist that can confirm that claim.
