Historical Note: Before its landscaping, Victoria
Park had a bandshell where local groups could perform music. The
bandshell also served as a meeting place for citizens. Today a similar
bandshell stands in Wascana Park on the north shore of Wascana Lake
, near the
Royal Saskatchewan Museum. |
