Historical Note: Arguably Regina 's best-known and most-beloved theatre, the Capitol Theatre opened in 1921. The Capitol Theatre was turned into a multi-screen facility in 1975. In 1992 when the theatre was demolished several of the seats were salvaged and donated to the Regina Plains Museum .
