Scope and Content Note: Front side view of the Court House on northeast corner of Scarth Street and Victoria Avenue , where trial of Louis Riel was held. Built in 1884, it burned down in 1895. Saskatchewan Archives Board has the original print.

Historical Note: Regina 's first courthouse was on the corner of Scarth Street and Victoria Avenue . This is the site where the Federal Building now stands. It was replaced by a new courthouse in 1894 that stood at 2002 Victoria Avenue , where the Avord Tower now stands.
