Environment:Baker Lake

"Apart from my regular duties, I made magnetic field observations in the summer of 1933. I travelled as far as Baker Lake, doing magnetic and geographic position records. During the first leg of my expedition, aboard the police launch Lady Willingdon, my fellow passengers were Sergeant Wight and Inspector Martin...One of his constables, Dick Yates came along, and did Parka, an Inuk who worked with the police."
