Father Alphonse Waddel, OMI, stands beside his new home in Meadow Lake. The rectory was donated by Cyrien Morin about 1919. The building, constructed of square timbers, had been intended for a store, but was hauled intact to the new site instead. [142]

Meadow Lake mission on land donated by Leon Sergent in 1919 includes, from the left, the second church, the rectory, and the third church built in 1925. [143]
