Kanagawa Prefectect2 - The shrine is also called Daito-no-miya. It was founded in 1869 and is dedicated to the memory of Prince Morinaga, third son of Emperor Go-Daigo. Falsely accused of plotting against his father, the prince was imprisoned in a dark cave behind the site of the shrine before being assassinated in 1335.
