Tochigi 2 - Interior
of the Oratory at the Daiyuin, mausoleum of the third Shogun
Tokugawa Iemitsu. At the right is one of two large bronze crane
candlesticks next to a bronze flower vase. In front are five
gold-lacquered prayer desks with boxes containing sutras. On
the ceiling are 100 compartments with paintings of golden dragons
on a blue background. A gilt canopy hangs from the ceiling.
