Kyoto3 - The annual
Cherry Dance (Miyako Odori) was first performed in March 1872
by Geisha of the Gion district. Since then it has been performed
in April at the Kaburenjo (Geisha School). Musical accompaniment
is by singing, shamisen, drums and bells. |
